Meet Sukku: a warming Sri Lankan brew of ginger, spices, herbs and palm sugar. Our family recipe, made for a moment of comfort.
Meet Sukku
Rain at the windows. A pot on the stove. A warm cup pressed into your hands before you’ve even asked.
That’s the spirit of sukku, a ginger-and-spice brew with a long home in Sri Lankan and Tamil kitchens. Bold, fragrant, and a little peppery—the kind of comfort that makes you feel looked after.
We’re bringing our family’s version to your daily routine.

Our blend brings together dried ginger, aromatic spices, herbs and palm sugar. Carefully chosen for their warmth, fragrance and flavor, then blended in Sri Lanka.
Ginger leads. The spices add depth. Palm sugar rounds it out with a little sweetness.

It’s a ginger-and-spice brew, inspired by Sri Lankan and Tamil kitchens. We’re developing ours without coffee beans. We’ll share the final ingredients before you buy.
Warm ginger, fragrant spices and a peppery finish, rounded out with palm sugar.
Ginger has a long history in home remedies, and researchers have studied it for nausea. Most studies use supplements rather than foods, so they don’t establish the same benefit for our brew. We make Sukku for warming comfort and an everyday ritual—not as a treatment. More about ginger research.
Not yet. Your reactions help us decide what the first batch should look like. No money changes hands here.
It’s part of our Sip Club plan: a mug in your first box, then a pouch each month. We’re still picking the mug. It has to be a keeper.
